Sample Collection Guide

Learn about the different types of sample collection and what to expect during your visit to Aspire Lahore Lab.

Blood Sample Collection

Blood samples are collected by our trained phlebotomists using sterile, single-use equipment. The most common method is venipuncture, where a small amount of blood is drawn from a vein in your arm.

Uine Sample Collection

For urine tests, you will receive a sterile container with instructions. Please follow the clean-catch technique as described below:

Clean the area with the provided wipe
Begin urinating into the toilet
Catch the midstream sample in the container
Complete urination into the toilet

Home Sampling

For home sampling visits, our phlebotomist will arrive at your scheduled time. Please ensure:

A responsible adult is present
You have followed any fasting or preparation requirements
You have your test requisition form ready

Sample Handling

All samples are handled according to international standards for specimen management. Samples are transported in temperature-controlled containers to maintain integrity.
